Here I am making full use of the free internet access at Changi airport. One person gets only 15 mins but since no one is here, I get to log out and in to my heart’s content.
As I had duly reported on my facebook, I had spent US$50 on a pair of heels and a nice black bag at Charl3s & K31th. I don’t think I will spend anymore money (feels all guilty now). Ok, except for a t-shirt for my dad because he asked. My dad never asks for souvenirs k, so the fact that he asked means he would really like one. How can I deny him a t-shirt from b0tswana then?
Should I not have bought the pair of heels? But they were so pretty and comfie too! How could I resist? The bag I’m not so guilty about because I haven’t bought a bag in close to a year. But it’s not like I get to travel to Spore often anyway.
Anyway, I thought I’d share with you what a contrast Chang1 and Kl1a is. KL1a was so dimly lit that I had to ask a fellow traveller whether “it was me or is the aiport dark?”. Nak jimat elektrik kot.
I went to the bookstore and bought 2 magazines – I don’t feel guilty about that because I am claiming – on fitness and health. I noticed that the prices have gone up considerably. Prevent10n is now RM17 from just a mere RM12 before and S3LF is RM31! I’m so glad I subscribe to the magazine. But the winner of the most ridiculously-priced magazine is a pilates magazine which costs – brace yourself for this – RM60!!!
And what else? I’ve run out of things to blog about. So I guess I’ll just log off now and reorganise my luggage and after that read my magazines. I’ll write again from Jo’berg in two days, if there is free computer/internet access. I didn’t bring my laptop on this trip. Not worth the hassle.
